Looks brutal mate! all the best stuff. Reckon you'll be pleasantly surprised at the shokk attack gun's ability to force battle shock tests out of sequence. Deff dredds good for that reason also. Zogrod looks fun.

The only unit I have feelings about is nobs unit which is a ton of points (350) for an egh unit but I don’t think kommandos will make as much an impact as the only unit I’d replace nobs with and zodgrod supergrunts are better move blockers.

But ya orks are best in a melee heavy unit with good mobility and lots of redundant bodies (82 models here). I do bleed tactical secondaries in this list with characters (8) But each unit is tough to clear and has enough hidden high damage characters/nobs to make each unit an impact.

I don’t have big trakks but An option to limit tactical mission from scoring bring it down is to drop a trukk and make 2 other trukks into big trakks.. and put flashgitz into reserves to drop down and shoot/overwatch infantry to death.

I get what you're saying about nobs. Kommandos have good utility in that they can't be overwatched, so they charge things that want to overwatch, then the rest of the lads pile in.

Any reason you prefer the bubblechucka out of all the mek guns?

Orks lack high ap wpns mainly.. especially shooting.
This unit is mainly to battleshock an enemy unit which I suspect is mostly elite infantry
the best mekguns for this are kmk and Bubblechukka.
Bubblechukka has more range to better match the shokk atk gun in its unit and it has better damage than kmk. (Especially w grot assistant atk reroll and plunging fire setup)

Bubble chukka no longer forces you to choose a target before you determine type either and I like its profile.. but we will see how it goes in practice. I may end up with 2x kmk Mek guns instead because knight armies are a pain for orks. I also may end up putting flashgitz into reserves and dropping a trukk to Make 2 other trukks into big trakks and make bring it down harder to score.

Cool, I like your thinking. I'm trying to figure out orks myself but with more modeling restrictions (no beast snagga units). One thing about baddrukk is being in a trukk, he gets to pop out and blast something close range for his -1 T aura to take effect. May even help the other lads out. If he's coming in 9'' away and killing the closest unit (got to be closest for the extra attacks) then he's not using the aura on the turn he comes in, possibly the next turn. Situational but wounding marines on 2+ is nice! Reckon that unit kills 14 marines that way.

The Flashgitz are wasted in a trukk, as you don't get any of the special rules from the flashgitz or the Kap. They have a decent 3+ save in cover, but they will be targeted quickly once your opponent knows what they can do. They are insanely good if you manage to get them not moving and with the full reroll on a 4+ you are deleting units.
