1. Where did that tube you used for the chickendicator come from?

2. I've seen a lot of these lava bases recently - is there some kind of tutorial available?

OOhh i love it when all the 'spidery' elements are incorporated into warhammer! makes it creepier and cooler : ) remember! - added legs means added potential for an uber-ep!c win. but i think with the quality of your work that's already been established

No idea on how much. It involved a fair few models and packs - but I can't recollect how much. Time? Somewhere int he vicinity of 3-6 months? Can't remember that either - but if you check the earliest thread to the last thread with pics that should give you an idea.

OMG! I want to have your children! Wait, was that out loud? hmm ..

Seriously, I love the scratch-builds and well everything. I was a little wary of the silver and yellow paint scheme (having never seen Iron Warriors - I assume those are their colours?) but with all the accessories, weathering, lava and glow effects, they really look fabulous.

I am however having a hard time with the blue weapons .. they are growing on me though.

I'm sooo looking forward to seeing your Baneblade Walker. Keep up the amazing work!

The matter from which brains are made, obviously... you don't suspect he has fewer than 5-6 brains from various species floating in jars, do you?

I have said this ad nauseum no doubt, but it is really a lovely army, and exactly what great counts as modeling is all about. (Well, ok the infantry are not counts as, but vehicle wise)

This is an incredibly inspirational chaos army, thanks for sharing. This is easily the best iron warriors army I've ever seen, and possibly the best chaos army I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing, it really motivates me.

I just read through this from the start, and all I can say is Wow. Just... Wow. One of the best, if not THE best Iron Warriors army I've ever seen. Very nice painting, and the lava and the glow it seems to have on the rocks os amazing! I salute you sir

I'm still getting to this one, don't fret. I've got a couple of tanks to paint and a few termies and troops to finish off as well. But the creeping crabby baneblade of death will get the lovin' first - right after I finish with my triple stompa action
